Information and Communication Technology (ICT)

Students develop ICT capability as they learn to use ICT effectively and appropriately to access, create and communicate information and ideas, solve problems, and work collaboratively in all learning areas at school, and in their lives beyond school. Students at Lake Monger Primary School have dedicated ICT lessons where students learn to make the most of the digital technologies available to them. They learn to apply social and ethical protocols and practices in a digital environment, particularly in relation to the appropriate acknowledgment of intellectual property and the safeguarding of personal security when using ICT.  ICT lessons link with many other curriculum areas.
